Here are some Purely Peach Rollups, using only foraged peaches in the mix. The peaches were small but the taste was exquisite and they were freestone so separating the stones was no hassle.
Simply threw them into a Vitamix Food Processor and blended down to a thick creamy mixture, tasting often as I went 🙂 This I poured onto Teflon sheets (can also use baking paper) spread in thin layers. These I put on trays in the Dehydrator at 60 degrees Celsius (140 Fahrenheit) and left for a number of hours while keeping an on eye on them from time to time until they were ready. It took a good 14 hours but I guess the time needed would depend on a number of things, room temperature and humidity a couple of examples. Dehydrators are a great investment
Once they were dehydrated it was a simple matter of slicing then into strips and rolling them up. They are great to munch on, breaking a piece off at a time and tasting them re-hydrating in your mouth is just hard to describe. It certainly works for my Taste Buds!
