Morning all, I am trying to add more smoothies to my diet and progress toward a much healthier eating regime. It can be a difficult thing to do if you have been addicted to a diet of convenient over processed, sugar loaded and unhealthy food for many years. To be able to make this transition and minimise the effects I decided that adding smoothies to my daily diet (although the word diet brings visions of commercialised programs to lose weight fast) would be a good start. Because of my love of all things sweet the fruit smoothie is a great way of starting that transition. Give them a go, I just threw a buncch of fruit we had in the fridge and freezer together in a blender, added water and gave it a blast.
The result was delicious and contained more fruit than I would have eaten all day, vitamized and easily absorbed by my digestive system:)
